Most recently, Bomba Estéreo has collaborated with Bad Bunny on his much-anticipated album on the sizzling track “Ojitos Lindos.” The new song is a sultry bachata banger that showcases Bomba Estéreo’s signature sound. Bad Bunny’s falsetto vocals fit perfectly over the top of the laid-back instrumentals, creating a seductive vibe that is sure to get listeners moving. The track is already a hit with fans of both Bad Bunny and Bomba Estéreo, and it will be on repeat all summer long. Stream it below.
“I’m really happy with this collaboration,” Bomba’s vocalist Li Saumet shares. “It was a really fluid and natural conversation. Benito has such a clear idea of what he wants and he is open to explore new ideas, without fears. I value that so much in an artist. I think it’s important that the alternative Latin music scene joins with the mainstream to make music and deliver our message and art together.”
Bomba Estéreo is a Colombian cumbia band from Bogotá. The band was founded in 2005 by Simón Mejía and Liliana Saumet. Their music is a fusion of traditional cumbia with electronica, reggae, dub, hip hop, and rock. They have released four studio albums, Elegancia Tropical (2012), Amanecer (2015), Apoyo (2017), and Maxima FM (2019).
