Get ready for the 2022 CMT Music Awards, which air tonight — Monday, April 11 — at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS. Kelsea Ballerini will host for the second year in a row and is joined by a new co-host, actor Anthony Mackie. In a last-minute change, Ballerini will be hosting from home following a positive COVID-19 diagnosis. Last year’s co-host Kane Brown will assist Mackie with live show duties as well.
The show’s winners are voted on by music fans and it features a large number of live musical guests, including the first live awards show performance by The Judds in more than two decades. Other performances scheduled include Ballerini, Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Keith Urban and many more.
