Something different will happen on “American Idol” on ABC tonight.
“American Idol” will air at 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022.
ABC says, “For the first time ever, ‘American Idol’ superstar judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will pick songs for each of the Top 11 to perform.
Without knowing which judge offered the suggestion, each contestant will select their favorite song to perform, revealing the winning judge.”
Last night the Top 14 were narrowed to the Top 11.
The Top 11 are: Christian Guardino, Lady K, HunterGirl, Leah Marlene, Nicolina, Noah Thompson, Emyrson Flora, Fritz Hager, Jay Copelan, Mike Parker and Tristen Gressett.
On May 2, don’t miss the “Great Idol Reunion.”
ABC says, “In celebration of the milestone 20th season, ‘American Idol’ greats Ruben Studdard, Scotty McCreery, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Lauren Alaina, Kris Allen, Maddie Poppe, Laine Hardy, Willie Spence, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Grace Kinstler, Laci Kaye Booth and additional surprise guests will reunite on the Idol stage for a night of unforgettable performances.”
