East London rap legend Rimzee has just dropped his highly-anticipated project, Cold Feet, featuring heavy hitters such as K-Trap, Giggs, Potter Payper, Young Adz, Tiggs Da Author, Maverick Sabre, Emeli Sandé and more.
Rimzee is an artist whose entrepreneurial spirit is being felt both near and far: having come out of prison two years ago from serving seven years, he soon launched a fast-food business (Burgers & Bagels) and became the owner of countless properties across London. Cold Feet, which follows on from his 2020 project The Upper Clapton Dream 2, is a reminder of exactly why Rimzee’s regarded as such an important figure, with inspirational and real-life stories running right through it.
Featuring some of the biggest and the best in the UK music scene, the 18-track project charts the Clapton don’s trajectory and demonstrates the work-rate that has led him to this point.
Previously released singles “Unruly”, “Entrepreneur” and “Intro” feature on the project, as does 2021 fan favourite “Expensive Pain” with Born Trappy. Accompanying the mixtape release was the video for “Juggin”, which features Giggs and Tiggs Da Author. The visuals, directed by Blackbeard, capture the three artists out on the ends with friends as they reflect on the trials and tribulations they overcame to get to where they are today.
Cold Feet has all the markings of a classic: a compelling narrative, debonair production, and solid features. Rimzee will be hitting the road for a four-date Cold Feet tour in December—his first ever set of headline show—kicking off in Glasgow and culminating at the O2 Academy, Islington.
