Tech & Science Daily: 2022 music streaming trends – Evening Standard

he BPI has revealed its annual yearbook called “All About The Music 2022” looking at the past year in streaming trends and it’s good news for indies.
We spoke to Gennaro Castaldo from the BPI – the British Phonographic Industry – who represent UK music.
He says exposure that acts can get by embracing platforms like TikTok means it’s a great time to be a new independent artist.
